Life Groups help our college students become the next generation leaders of God's family through providing an opportunity to engage the Gospel in community and be equipped as disciples by the truth of God's word.
Life Groups are our Sunday morning small group Bible studies where we will study through a book of the Bible or a foundational topic to our growth in Christ, such as evangelism, apologetics, theology, etc.
2017-2018 Life Groups
Steven and Maxy Blaney - Co-Ed - Room 107 (Fellowship Hall)
Let us Pray - If we are being honest, many of us might find it hard to pray. This group will study the prayers of several men and women in scripture in order to develop a more biblical view of prayer.
Tim and Jennifer Connelly - Co-Ed - Room 111 (Fellowship Hall)
Christian Beliefs: Twenty Basics Every Christian Should Know - This study is for new believers and mature Christians alike looking to learn more about the basics of faith. In this class we will use a book that is a condensed version of Wayne Grudem's "Systematic Theology" that makes these essentials of Christian theology easy for everyone to learn. You will learn about the Bible, the characteristics of God, what it means to be created in the image of God, what God has done for us in Christ, the purpose of the church, and much more.
Jeremy and Tanya Paul - Co-Ed - Room 115
Gideon - The life of Gideon is about so much more than fleece and 100 soldiers. It is about God's love for His people and His strength in spite of and through their weaknesses.
Dalane Guidry & Suzanne Reid - Girls Only - Room 121
Esther - We will be studying through the Old Testament book of Esther. The characters in Esther and the events that occur will teach us how to live with integrity and courage. God is not mentioned in the book of Esther, but His faithfulness is evident as Esther and Mordecai trust God to provide for and protect them.
Kyle Allen & Andy Clark - Guys Only - Room 124
Twelve Ordinary Men - Together, we will learn how Jesus selected 12 guys from varying walks of life and molded them into some of the most amazing Christian soldiers of all time.
Kirk and Daphne Taylor - Co-Ed - Room 123
New Eyes in the Old Testament - Develop a new view of the Old Testament by studying the lives of several people to see how their story points to God's plan to redeem the world through Jesus. We will study a different person each week and deepen our love for the Old Testament!
